ARAKU VALLEY

ARAKU VALLEY

We are the group of six people and the most interesting thing about us is that we all like to explore new things, travel to different places and enjoy nature. One such place where we found all those is Araku valley which is near to beautiful city Visakhapatnam. People prefer to go to Araku by trains as the trains mostly go through the caves which we too enjoyed.

As we reached that place fresh air was blowing which energized our body. There are many places to visit there, the most famous and the first place we visited was Bora caves which is full of stones and is a chilled place where we all were shivering and in those caves there was a small temple of lord Shiva whom they praise. After coming out of the caves there was a sudden surprise of a group of six monkeys, they scared us, that was what there enjoyment was, it was already dark and that was the time when we were tired and wanted to relax. We found small huts those which were in the olden days, it was really a good experience to see such kind of environment.

The next day of our tour started with Tribal Museum which is situated on the Araku road in the heart of Araku valley, located in the vicinity of Padmapuram Botanical gardens, the museum offer a glance at the lifestyle and cultures of the tribal communities indigenous to eastern Ghats. To promote the tribal Art the museum also encompasses a tribal art and craft center where workshops and exhibitions are. held regularly. After that we relaxed ourselves in the garden where there were wooden houses which had steps and also there was a children park where we became children and had lots of fun.Post lunch we went to the waterfall which was another amazing view, other than all these Araku is famous for Tea plantation. There ended our journey of Araku, we are still planning to visit such places, our jorney never ends….
